Had them on my Scat Pack and really liked them. I'm more of a "cubic inches" guy rather than a "Liter" guy. Still undecided. Why?
Thinking about replacing the 6.4 Hemi badges with these 392 badges????View attachment 144124

When I was a wee lad, my parents bought a brand new '69 Cougar off the showroom floor. I loved that car. Wish I had it today...I like the 392 Hemi emblem better for being in inches vs Liters, but then the 6.4L is built slightly beefier for our 2500 HD pickup vs those for the cars. I say go for it.
Had a 1968 Mercury Cougar when I was 17 many years ago. I remember that Mercury had introduced it in 1967 as an American car with European luxury. So their 390 engines were stated as 6.5 Liter and the 427/428 were stated as 7.0 Liter on the side panels. Still think that a Cobra Jet 427 emblem would have looked more impressive. All other American cars of that era had theirs stated in inches.
Yea low and crooked, and the red on red washes it outMight not look too bad.. but it seems a bit low IMO.
Maybe, but it’s in the same location as the old one.Might not look too bad.. but it seems a bit low IMO.
