Gave my Ram i good tryout today by towing a dual axle 6x12x2 hyd dump steel trailer loaded with wet chicken manure , i had to come up a mild hill from the chicken houses the truck handled the load without any problems and did not seam to strain even a little, the trans temp did not get over 180 with my 321 rear axle ratio I estimate the load to be on the + side of 10,000 # i was in the tow mode it was a 20 mile tow and ran 65 when i got on the blacktop the transmission shifted smooth truck handled solid i was surprised by how it performed it was a lot smoother and stronger than my 2013 F150 4x4 CC 5.0 also smoother than my old 96 Chevy PU. This Ram has really suprised me on every task i have asked of it so far including being a great Toad for our Coach.
