Sweetness...so did your flaps come with mounting hardware? If not, how'd you mount 'em? I'm ordering a set of Rally Armor universal fit flaps (the Basic Plus model) and they're sold sans hardware, so I'll probably use the fender flare mounting points on my Reb unless suggested otherwise by distinguished members of this forum like yourself.

They came with some but I simply reused the factory bolts and mounted them in same factory holes. they're basically just flexible plastic blanks at least in my case so i had to align them where i wanted them and drilled 2 holes in each of them to mount them, i used cardboard to trace the holes

This is the rear super easy install

For the front i did use a heat gun to mold them more or less to follow the same shape of the seam
I messed up my first set as i cut the flap too much and i made it too skinny so i had to order a new set of 4 for an extra $20 :) for the 2nd set i only cut a small lip and folded part of the flap behind the plastic liner using the heat gun to make the shape. Reused the factory bolts as well and the factory holes, and a little zip tie to hold the folded portion to the liner.

Cool; thanks for the details! I was thinking that's what you did, but wanted to make sure; using the factory mounting points is nice.

The ones I ordered are 19 inches long, so they'll definitely need some trimming, but that should be easy with a sharp knife or saw.

Id make a cardboard template of the flap and use that to transpose the holes and use as a guide to cut them, with a fresh razor blade, it's very easy for the blade to walk and than the cut gets wonky, especially if it's the floppy rally armor ones that are super flexy.

If they are harder plastic I use a torch to heat the blade a bit and they cut like butter.

No love lost if you mess cardboard up either and the template works for both sides. My Rokblokz flaps are pretty long and they work phenomenal, so i would see how you like full length and trim till you're happy. Easier to remove some flap than wish you left it on.

Ordered all new Kicker speakers for the truck.... then the next step will be to sneak a Kicker Hideaway sub under the passenger seat.

Nope, i don't think a lock will do much given how it mounts so i'd rather let the scumbags take it just loosing down the nut by hand instead of trashing down the bed to get a $70 brand new part, $20 from Craiglist.

I installed Timber Grove ASAMs. Straightforward install took a little over 3 hours; getting some bolts aligned was a bit fiddly. I may have a small air leak though so I’ll check in the morning and tighten as needed.

Now we get the fun of planning a number of camping trips with the Ram and our trailer!

Pics please?

Not so much something I did to my truck but an accessory for it. :) Bought a new Doolittle 16x77 dual axle trailer a couple weeks ago.

Before:

It was Silver, and not really what I wanted. So into our shop it went. Just an FYI, I hate prep work.

And the new color going on. I had a gallon of Hills Green mixed up special for it to match my 2500. My wife and I switched off spraying. She wanted in on the fun also.

Once it was painted, I put the lights and back in the right way. Solder and heat shrink. They were butt spliced in.

And the final product, almost. I didn't have time to paint the ramps before we had to use it this past weekend.

And finally a couple shots of a waterfall we rode past because I'm artsy-fartsy.

Great color choice! Make sure to tell everyone to stay off the rails...

I appreciate the tips, h! Yeah, I was about to pull the trigger on Rokblokz, but ended up going the cheaper route with the RAs. With the savings, I was able to get the parts for the EcoD airbox swap!

Dropped off my truck at the dealer for them to perform recall work. I thought the FUel Tank strap was still a recall, looks like it changed to an extended warranty service??? Oh well...

I have a 2019 Big Horn quad as a loaner... DAMN THAT BACK SEAT IS SMALL!!!! I put my kids carseat in and i had to move the front seat ALL the way up so it would fit. I love the backseat of the crews.
