Thats a nice and clean install. Did you think about tapping into the rear view mirror for power? I'm wondering if that is an option. Here's my install, blackvue dr550gw-2ch. You can barely notice it from a few feet away

Tapping mirror is easy. Just need 12v to 5v converter and solder pins to it. Push them into connector from backside. No cutting or splicing req'd. Link to converter...

Thats what I did too (with a different converter). Can't remember the name off hand but there is also a company that sells the converter with pins already soldered to the power side.
BlackVue also has a power adapter that connects to the OBD port. You can have it on and off with the car, off after a few hours, or off when a battery voltage is reached. Thanks, no, I actually ran the wire down the A pillar and hooked it up to the Power Magic Pro hardwire kit. I mounted it under the console and tapped into the circuit for the accessory outlet. Back when I got it there weren't that many options like their is today, and I like the fact that it has a switch where I can enable or disable parking mode, even though it does monitor battery level.
