6" of droop is nice! You're sitting about what, 50/50, droop vs bump travel?

Straight bump is 19 1/2” with coils removed. When it’s articulated i can get the tire to tuck up there a good amount, next time I’ll have to pull a measurement.
Yeah pretty much 50/50. Wish I could pull those numbers up front lol

Ordered a "Kinetic Recovery" rope last week from a well known manufacture. Figured it's a good idea "to have and not need, than to need and not have".

When it arrived I opened it right up and was excited. Started to read the literature and then the big sigh came "..... crap". made in China :(

At the time of purchase, I had the choice between this one (SB) or a Bubba Rope. Sales person told me that there wasn't really a big difference between the two, other than the Bubba cost twice as much. Hey, I'm all for saving $$$ when possible, but sometimes there is more involved.

Went back to the point of purchase store (4WP) explained my situation and they were very gracious in me doing an exchange and purchasing the Bubba Rope instead.

I know we can't always avoid certain products from where they are manufactured, but whenever I can, and do have a choice...... it's "Made in America".

Again, original item manufacture has a good reputation, and I'm not slamming them at all....... hopefully they have other products which "are" made in the USA, and I'd be fine purchasing them, but for now the world is a different place, and for me.... I gotta support my neighbors and "Made in America".

Lesson learned: Read the label :waytogo:

Original rope, NOT made in USA.

I’ve done a couple things the past few days (and today). Debadged my truck but decided to keep the hemi badge. Only took a few hours of fishing line and 3M adhesive remover in the hot Texas summers. Definitely doing it in the shade next time for sure. After getting all the adhesive off I used some cleaner wax and some waterless wash and wax chemicals to make it all cleaned up.

Today, after confirming my ticking from my engine wasn’t due to manifold studs breaking (or the gasket) I ran up to summit racing and bought me some RedLine 5w-30 oil and threw that in there. Engine is up 5 psi from royal purple 5w-20 so that’s a plus. Time will tell if it fixed my tick.

Next up on my list of mods, new Hellwig rear sway bar and then the MaxTrac leveling kit with fox shocks. Then I get to throw new wheels and tires on, and I can’t wait. :) Modding sure is easy to do when the truck is finally paid off!

I’m anxious to see what your ram letters look like color matched when you’re done. I’m thinking about doing my front skid plate and might consider this to!

I just need to wait for a cooler day since I'll be doing it in my garage and it's been hot lately. I'll be blacking out the skid plate too, and I'll def posts some pics up.

Finally de-badged my truck. With the Vegas heat the finishing line went thru like butter. Used an eraser wheel and a little wipe of degreaser to get the last bit. Still need to wash it.96e451f13e01f119b528237eac8a80e6.jpga3c1327f592efa0d787985e71be6b9a1.jpg5fce153ae7d1b67f0391aee747bf3f4c.jpgc1d32a134b8cb7c07e8bf8e6e61135e5.jpg

Haven't even driven my truck in 2 days now. Last time I drove it was Friday to cash my check. Won't be driving it again till Monday to do some food shopping before going back to work on Tuesday.
I really, really want to wash it but, it's pretty warm out and I think I'm going to cut the lawn today. We'll see.

It looks a lot better debadged. Too much emblem from the factory and with it debadged you draw the attention back to the 4th gen sexy body lines.

No comparison compared to when it’s cluttered up by the obnoxious lettering.

I don't know if it would be a blessing or a curse to live that close to Summit. LOL
