Hi there!

I've had my 1500 5.7 Limited for a little over 10 months now and I couldn't be more happy with it.
I live in Europe and use the truck both as a daily and for longer journeys. My Ram came with the OEM tonneau.
Only mod I've done so far is the FlowMaster Outlaw and I'm not planning on touching anything on the exterior since I find it perfect as is.
The thing is... I sometimes need to carry stuff that's a bit taller and would love for it to be both protected from mother nature and some of her naughtier kids.
The solution is quite obvious then? A truck cap/topper painted to match.
Yes, but I can only find a couple of importers in Europe and the only one that would fit my truck would cost me 6-8k USD depending on the spec(transport incl.)
I don't even think the prices are all that crazy or surprising considering a fully decked Limited like mine would cost you 120k USD where I'm from(after taxes) and that doesn't include the costly LPG conversion you'll need to do if you are willing to use it as a daily and not go bankrupt with EU's gas prices. I even went for the full body Xpel Ultimate treatment which brought the price even deeper into supercar territory and at this point I'm not willing to invest much more into this truck.
These trucks are extremely niche here and are priced as luxury vehicles thus there really aren't ANY second hand options for a truck cap.
The irony is that I can buy a brand new economy box car with a 5 year warranty for my company for exactly the same price as the above mentioned truck cap.
As much as I want/need one I'll refrain from pressing the "Order Now" button and look for alternative ways to aquire one.

Any suggestions regarding where to look for used ones in the US or something with a more reasonable price in Europe ?
I've even looked through Craigslist but couldn't find a single one that would fit the "new body" Rams.

Thank you for taking your time to read through my post!

Where in Europe are you? I never tried to buy anything like a RAM when I was in Germany for ten years, just bought used stuff. Are you in France or near and maybe get in touch with Stellantis and see if ne dealerships somewhere close that can help? From a search, MOPAR does not offer a topper cap as an option, so you would have to get with a US Company and see if they would ship. Getting a topper shipped from a company in US to Europe? Phew. That may be a daunting task. Sorry, all I have for you. I bought all my US needed parts for cars from AAFES back in the day, which is why I stayed mostly European when there.

go to: LEER/4ARE: They make caps to accommodate a lot of vehicles. Whether or not they can ship, hmmmmmmmmmmmm.

Thanks for the reply!
I use the truck all around Europe but it's doing its daily duties mainly in Bulgaria.
I did import the exhaust from the US and it's indeed expensive. Regarding the topper if I find one for a very good price it might still be worth importing it compared to EU prices.
Leer and A.R.E. are indeed the ones I'm looking at but am open to pretty much any brand. Beggars can't be choosers.
