I have a 2015 Ram 2500 with a 6.4 motor.
A couple weeks ago the gas cap alert came on in the dashboard alerts. I've messed with the cap and it looks fine.
I have one of those "Fix'd" analyzers, so I did a scan that indicated everything was fine.
I read the comments on the posts on this too.
Yesterday, I went to Auto Zone parts store, and had them do a scan. There were NO codes indicated. I bought a new gas cap from them but the alert won't go away after about a 1/2 hr. of driving.
What do you think I should do? The truck seems to run fine.

It takes about 50 miles for it to go away - if you don't have any codes. If you spring for an OBDLink MX+ and Alpha, you can clear it by "resetting" all trouble codes while the truck is in "run" but the engine off, then shut off the truck, and then start it.

The Gas Cap Light or code ..

First of all, Gas Caps on Rams should only be replaced with a Mopar Cap, after market caps may work, but many times it will not.

Another thing, if the trouble light does not shut off.
The problem may be the PURGE VALVE or the ESIM
