Radio volume automatically lowers

I have a 2020 Ram 2500. When my IPhone is connected to CarPlay and I pick my phone up to look at it, my radio volume automatically lowers. Once I lock the phone screen, the radio volume goes back to previous setting. How do I turn this function off?

Did you check your phone settings? Sounds like it’s a setting somewhere on your phone. Check the aware settings relating to Face ID.
