2022 Classic with 8.4 uconnect no nav

Here's a new one for my 2022 classic with the 8.4 uconnect non nav . Used the vr button to get Android auto to call my wife and twice it dialed a number in China . Can't wait to see what the cell company charges me for 7 seconds . Gotta say I love my truck but uconnect sucks .
Been putting it off but it's time for a service call .

Is that when you speak the number to call? The VR on my RA4 unit has never been stellar, either. Address input in particular is horrendous.

I can verify uconnect 5 totally sucks.i would be curious to see what your factory radio wiring looks like.i know they still have the 5.0 and the uaq option so I wouldn't think they changed the whole harness for uconnect 5.just wondering if they used an adapter harness.does your factory uconnect vr work like tune to sat so and so or set temp to 70 etc.
