This Silicone Light Strip fit Perfectly in the channel in the grill. I mounted the switch below my steering column. It looks Totally RAD!
What does "totally RAD" mean?

I did look it up but I'm doubtful your usage has any of these intentions.

RAD may refer to reactive attachment disorder, a rare but serious condition that affects children who don't form healthy emotional bonds with their caregivers. RAD can develop if a child's basic needs for comfort, affection, and nurturing aren't met. Symptoms include:
Unexplained withdrawal, fear, sadness, or irritability
Not seeking comfort or showing no response when comfort is given
Failure to smile
Not showing positive emotions
Avoiding eye contact and physical touch
Expressing fear or anger
Trying to find things in their environment that they can control
Avoiding caretakers
Withdrawing from social situations
RAD may also refer to:
A 1986 drama about a young man who wants to win a BMX race
A film released in 2020
Rental Assistance Demonstration, a program that helps low-income households keep their units affordable
A unit of absorbed dose of ionizing radiation equal to an energy of 100 ergs per gram of irradiated materia

looks good, man...don't listen to others. Those led neon light strips do fit nice. This summer i'm going to put them under the truck and wire them so that when the step bar deploys they will light up. I wonder if white ones would be legal. Did you use the 3M tape to hold them in place?

I did add one to the "change box" in the center console because when driving at nite I had to fumble aaround to find something in there like a lighter or cherry cough drops or whatever.

I am Glad to get the Feedback. Yes, I used exactly two 5 foot rolls of 3M automotive foam tape. I secured the very end with a small screw with clear tubing. It should last for several years if I keep the pressure washer at a distance from it.

when i cut the one for my console, i capped the cut end with clear silicone. If i do under the rocker panels, i'll have to get two strips about 8 feet long then cut to size. I just figured it would not only look good, but light up the step when extended. My game plan is to wire them up to the courtesy light circuit, that way they'll go on and off with those.

My truck is a 2020...don't have the grill like you. If i outlined mine, it would look a little weird lol

And, with that said, would anyone care to guess the age groups @BossHogg and @CapDon each belong to?
I kind of figured it was a generational thing but my wife and I are empty nesters so we don't have a goto in the house anymore. I did ask one of my kids who is in his mid-30s, he wasn't sure what RAD was either.

OP Don't mistake my comment as anything other than wanting to know what RAD is.

I am 67 now. I wanted to change the RAM name plastered all over the truck to something unique. Adding the word “Totally“ to RAD indicates the correct context as defined above. I have changed all four of “Ram“ names and had the words “Totally“ placed above each in vinyl lettering. I hope that the driver behind me gets a laugh out of it!
