How many miles are on the odometer? I have a 2019, after numerous problems with the dpf system I deleted mine.

50 K , second time I've had exhaust issues , it went through the REGEN process for about 20-30 miles and I was hoping it would clear the trouble code but it's still there,
Was considering Deleting it but am concerned about getting it serviced or selling it in the future.

Believe me I struggled with the same concerns. But I was sick of the problems and the dealer and Chrysler unable to successfully fix them. I reached my limit last October while waiting on a back ordered sensor; my truck had spent weeks sitting on the dealer lot. So I ordered a kit and did the tune and delete. It runs great and it is nice not to worry about errors and regen cycles, or the possibility of going into limp mode when towing my fifth wheel. I’m in Texas by the way. If I can help with information on the delete process let me know.

Good to know, I'm in Southwest Louisiana I know someone who can do the delete - I'm fed up with this BS, Went through this at 18K miles but was still under warranty , would have cost 3k for that repair - I think I can do the delete for about 1500$ - I'm done with Diesels from now on.

Well a day after the regen completed itself the check engine light stayed on then finally cleared itself - I was very close to bringing it to the shop or a car lot.
I'm done with diesels after this one

What does your average drive look like? Just running around town, or some good highway miles? Towing or empty? Lots of starts/stops or long runs? Lots of idle or not really?

I ask because diesels like to be worked in one form or another, either pulling loads or running for longer runs at highway speeds. They don't like starts/stops, they don't really like idling for long periods (I noticed this winter mine builds up more in the DPF and regens more often when I needed to let it sit and warm up a little), and they definitely don't like just running around town. All of these will usually lead to issues with the DPF system, since you're never really getting it warmed up enough to clean out the DPF, or to do a good regen every now and then (it may SAY it's completing one, but if it isn't completing the cycle after 1-2 runs then it's not doing a very good job.

People swear by the Lucas "Deep Clean" fuel additive. My truck only has 15k on it but the filter seemed to be getting full often. I tried it & it has made a big difference. Winter is over so I will be pulling my 5th wheel often so it should be getting worked enough over the summer months. I think I am going to get into a routine of adding the Deep Clean every winter from now on.

Why are you done with diesels? The emissions equipment is the fatal flaw for sure, but easy and relatively cheap to delete if your state allows it. If they don't, and you don't do much long distance driving/hauling the only option is really to do more of it. These engines need to work.

Seeing one fail that early leads me to believe that it's used as a grocery getter and not a hauler. They don't like that.
