Hello and sorry in advance if his has been discussed. I have a 2014 Ram 1500 5.7 with a full factory warranty. I'm wondering 1st if I'm ok to install a mopar catback without effecting my bumper to bumper warranty. The truck only has 34k on it and I'm not wanting to give anyone a reason to decline any warranty work in the future should I need any. Also I'm wanting to upgrade to 5 inch exhaust tips. Just wondering which brand is best to clamp on without having to cut and weld. Also does it matter if I just have an exhaust shop install it or does the dealership need to for warranty purposes.

Thank you

Assuming you're talking about the factory 3/36 or 10/100k power train warranties the simple answer is no, it won't affect your warranty. However, any factory warranty on the exhaust system downstream from the catalytic converter will be void.

No when I purchased the truck new I also purchased a full bumper to bumper warranty for an additional $3500. It kicked in after the factory warranty expired. They no longer offer it on new vehicles. I've been told by many to keep the truck because the warranty doesn't transfer to anyone else.

Sorry, somehow I missed that you were asking about a 2014 lol. This was posted in the wrong forum. I'll move it to the 4th gen section.

Best to ask the service center you would bring it to for warranty work if needed. Typically they wont void it for a catback system. We do not offer Mopar but we offer many options for catbacks, muffler kits, and 5" tips. Message me if you would like some info and pricing. We would be happy to help!
