    2019 ram 1500 new style battery life ?

    My Ram has 2 "cigar lighters", 1 always hot and 1 hot with the ignition key on. I have a small, flexible solar panel on top of the dash plugged into the always hot socket to keep the battery fully charged because I don't drive it every day.

Also you can get a big vacuum leak from where the hoses go into the "fumes cannister" that is on the right frame rail inboard of the passenger door.     Back in the day (so I hear) you could buy a Model A Ford cookbook with recipes to cook stuff on your engine. It told you how to prepare the food, how to wrap it, where to place it on the engine and how long to drive till it was done. Came in handy on trips.

    GM went thru this back in the 80's------they got sued ---and lost----cause the "leather seats" were not all leather so they started advertising "leather seating surfaces" and the vinyl used tor the rest is a real close match.     99 ram headlight assy. where to purchase???

    I bought a kit to do the headlight lens fog problem on my 98 1500 and found that inside the lenses is wet. Does the lens come off to dry this out or do the lenses / lights need to be replaced? Thanks in advance, Art

    Am I out of gas? **On side of road**

    I have been told that the gas in the tank keeps the submerged fuel pump cool and if you keep running below 1/4 tank it can eventually burn out the pump. At several hundred dollars for a pump I try keeping the level above half.

    Very upset with FCA/Dealership over my outside mirror assembly.

    A few years ago the stealer quoted me $457.00 for a taillight for my Caddi CTS (no labor)-------2 days later I installed the $155.00 Rock Auto unit in about 20 mins. Bought a lot from Rock Auto since.

    Question on Locking Lug Nuts

    My dealer told me that all techs there have a set of the special sockets or keys so they don't have to go thru your stuff to find yours to do a rotation. Of course that is for factory or dealer lock-nuts.

    Fix a flat

    Make sure you replace the valve cap too. Have they checked the entire rim too, I have heard of a porous spot in the metal. Just my 2 cent. Art
