Ignition coil
While just sitting there is 12v on both sides. When I crank it I only have a multimeter to test it and I do not think it reads fast enough to read the signal. So question is.... When key is off or in on position should I have 12v on both sides of the plug?- Loghan

1997 ram 1500 5.2L Truck not starting When I put a spark plug on the wire coming off the ignition coil and ground it no spark.... There is 12v on both the constant power and also on the trigger/signal wire is that normal?- Loghan
