Can you do the 1” spacers and the springs in the back with the 5100s? I was worried about over extending with just the springs since the 5100s say they accommodate up to 1” lift. Spacers and springs would put you at about 2.5”. Wouldn’t that over extend the 5100s?
They should help. That’s why I am going to these over stock springs. 1) They give me the additional 1.5” lift I want and 2) they also increase bed capacity by 35% or so. Don’t quote me on that amount. But it should reduce sag. The company is very responsive to emails so I would reach out to them...
Would love to know if you ever did this and how the rear bilsteins held up. Thinking of doing the same thing. I did 2.8” up front with the 5100 level kit and currently have a 1” spacer in the back but want to upgrade to the 1223vt springs which have the 1-1.5” lift.
Looking at upgrading my OEM springs on my 2018 big horn to Tuftrucks but wasn’t sure which ones to get. Right now I have 1” spacers in the rear with bilstein 5100 shocks. Would adding the TufTruck 1223VT springs over extend the rear bilsteins? Everything I read about the bilsteins says they only...
I did the 2.8” max height about a year ago and haven’t had any issues at all if that helps.
I did the rear shocks as well with 1” spacers. Definitely an improved ride.
