    Put about 1 quart of MOPAR BW44-44 in, which I'm having trouble figuring out what viscosity that roughly translates to, but it's red and seemed much lighter. Flushed and filled it with MOPAR 75w-140 with 5 oz of limited slip additive. BW44-44: 68089195AA 75w140: 68218657AB

    75W-90 vs 75W-140

    I have a 2017 1500 4xd, LSD, 3.55, my owner's manual says 75w90 in the rear, but apparently other manuals will say 75w140... I do frequently tow a 5k travel trailer, sounds like 75w140 is the way to go despite what the owner's manual says?

    Correct. Second for buying a bluetooth OBD reader and look at the stored code yourself. I use the 'Car Scanner' app but there are multiple that will accomplish the same thing. You can even clear codes yourself once you fix the issue.
