I dunno. Mine had the predator kit and 3.0 all the way around. It’s smooth and comfy on road or dirt. But shines in the dirt. I think people put this stuff on forgetting that it’s still a 1ton truck and heavy. “Soft” ride is subjective. I don’t want a soft ride. I want a tuned ride.
Rear spacer no issues. Thuren sells a rear spacer. The front spacers “work” they are just not great. Thuren is not a lift kit. It’s a suspension. Once you have tuned suspensions you’ll never want stock stuff again. Even stock pw leaves a lot of performance on the table when it comes to stock...
Wish I could hear if it’s making noise. My truck did this too “video somewhere” like you. In reverse not forwards. I searched and checked everythinggggg. Found it was rear lsd chattering some weirdly enough. I put fresh fluid in and it’s been fine. When it was doing it I could feel it and hear...
It’s night and day different. The valving before was awesome! But with a smooth body the valving needed made everything rough till you were hitting stuff fast. Nowwww it’s all smoother and I can hit stuff hard. Just gotta firm it up a tad for better control.
Got the full Predator kit on finally. Complete shock package and all the goodies. Truck is sweeeettttttt now! What a change. Now in to other things haha
Finally got the shocks all on and testing going. Feels so dang good. This is a serious upgrade. Built in with adjustability too. Can soften it up for slow trail rides and still hit stuff hard. And I can firm it up when boogieing so truck feels tight and responsive. If you’re serious about...
Wait till these things hit the road and people go wheeling em. No truss on that front axle and it’s going to spin! Seen it many times. These am 9.25 front axle and Cummins do not get along off-road so well. Gotta truss it!
Are you running air bags or timbrens. Honestly Don is the man to answer instead of the internet peeps. He’s a bit backed up but usually will respond within the week. Or reach out to Andrew at Thuren as well.
Tire psi? The rears should be significantly less than the front to get it to work right……unless you’re towing or loaded heavy then tire psi needs to come up.
Helped out pitting for a buddy at The Mint 400. A dodge ram truck with pit support by an all Ram truck crew. Good times. Almost finished 2 laps. Race truck drove from Lubbock Texas to Las Vegas Nevada to break in the new 6.4 8spd swap. A rock finally took out a radiator fan which then put a hole...
Been sitting on these for a couple weeks now. Might have to find some time to get them put on. Rear shocks currently at shock builder getting spec’s out so they fit. Getting closer to hitting dirt again. Also since I’m not wheeling did some pitting for a friend racing The Mint 400 almost...
