Workaround ? Rear axle really limits towing capacity
My 08 3500 Mega Cab has a 3.73 axle which according to the dodge.com specs limits towing capacity to 13,500 lbs, while the 4.1 axle shows 16,500 lbs. I have series E 10 ply tires rated at 2,600 lbs cold at 65 PSI, and need to pull a 5th wheel with dry weight of 13,690 lbs and loaded about...- [email protected]
