We had a 2016 EcoDiesel and loved it. We traded it in for our new 2020 2500 Diesel. My Cummins gets around 20 to 22 MPG. The ED got around 24 to 27 MPG.
Borrow a GPS from someone so you can see what the actual speed is that you are doing. That should give you a good idea on how far off you are from legit. Finding the cause is above my paygrade.
Wow! Zeigler just sold me the exact same insurance for $1495 Less than half than the first quote I got and almost $1,100 less than the second one. What a game they play. She told me she sold it to me with them getting $100 profit. Can you imagine all the profit the other were getting...
Two places I've spoken with: https://www.mopar.com/dodge/en-us/care/mopar-vehicle-protection.html
And

The last link was $900 cheaper for the same coverage. (Moparservicecontract.com)
There seems to be two different Dodge warranty reps out there. I'm guessing one is the official warranty site and the other is a sub contractor. Neither will admit this. One says I'm dealing with a dealership (Nope) and the other says they are the "Official" representative of Dodge. I talked...
We gave up on the 1500 and found a good deal on a 2020 2500 4x4 Cummins. 63,000 neighborhood. At least we'll never have to worry too much about what we can tow. A little over 200 miles on it and it is at 18 mpg. We hope it will get better with break in.
That was the first thing I thanked them for. I was an assistant manager at a paint shop in the 80's and I can tell the difference between factory paint and cheap shop paint. The salesman said not to worry, he would send it over to the 24 hour paint shop down the road and get it fixed right up...
I feel like an Idiot walking around with $65,000 in my hand and no takers. Oh, they'll take it but not for what I want. It's bad enough to lose thousands the second you drive off the lot but I'm not going to throw even more away by not getting the dealerships rock bottom price. There is no...
The deal we backed out of was one day away from signing. They had even done some upgrades to the truck that we requested. The truck was damaged in transport and among other problems we decided to back out (we had not signed anything). I expected a phone call from them begging me to reconsider...
I agree with most everything posted here. I too have been in the market for a new Ram and I get the smiles and welcome speech but no movement of prices. It's like being in another world when it comes to sales right now. I have no idea how to respond. I want to make a deal while it's still 0%...
Well, we were all set to pick up our new 2020 yesterday (Thursday) but the dealership kept making mistakes that were costing us. The truck was damaged in transport from Utah for instance. I-5 Dodge in Washington State is really screwed up right now. We were all set with 0% interest for 8...
I own the 2016 Ecodiesel and love it. There were many recalls on that truck. I'd make sure all of them have been taken care of first. Do you mind if I ask how much they are asking for it?
No 2500 or 3500 will be considered because of the MPG's. The Ecodiesel is our choice due to comfort, ride, looks and MPG's. Also, the bigger trucks won't fit in our garage, LOL.
Unfortunately, all the manufacturers are having problems with recalls. I'm afraid you may be disappointed once you jump ship. It is my firm belief that it's the luck of the draw when you pick your vehicle. My 2016 is perfect. It has had many recalls but nothing that pissed me off. Ram has...
I've owned a 2001 Ram Cummings. I love the big trucks but we need the MPG that comes with the Ecodiesel. Towing is important but the truck will only be towing for maybe 5% of its life.
Awesome truck. Congratulations. I've done the paperwork on getting our 2020. We are trading in our 2016. Unfortunately, my Governor has blocked all new vehicle sales because of the virus. You can go get new tires, oil change or do a recall but driving away in a new truck will kill someone.
I'm "Chatting" online with Dave Smith now. Very slow process but I doubt they can help.
That was a waste of 30 minutes. The "Chat" person finally said she would pass the info on. LOL It was a total waste of time. I was not even talking to someone at the dealership.
BTW The only reason we are trading in our 2016 is we need more tow capacity. We will be going from just under 8 thousand pounds to over 11 thousand with the new Ecodiesel. Our 2016 is almost exactly at the limit of it's capacity to tow our travel trailer.
We are trading in our 2016 Ecodiesel for a 2020. Both are fully loaded Laramie's. We have negotiated a little over 8 thousand off the sticker price. We are only getting 25,500 trade-in for our 2016 so we are upside down by a little over 2 grand(on a $55+ thousand truck). So much for the...
