    So, my 96 1500 5.2 just done a water pump replacement on it last night. Got home from work retopped off the coolant in the radiator, and the overflow. No sign of leaks, so I started it up. It hasn't been ran in couple weeks, but it started right up with out hesitation. Ran for about ten minutes...

    @Lyle Longboat Yea it was annoying as crap. Same part number that was on my part that came off, same part number when I ordered em, part electric plug was backwards did this like 5 times, before some young kid at AutoZone dug more and figured it out...

    I mentioned the button because of the comment about the overdrive. That reminded that I had changed that assembly before this issue, but I don't use that button

    I also just replaced the over drive button assembly, couple months ago because my fog light button didn't work. But I changed it out on the exact same year and model.

    Also, forgot to mention, at times I can pull off somewhere, shut the truck off, start it back up and the problem stops. Not as often now, but sometimes that helps, sometimes just til the stop.

    I have done a fluid drain and change once when the original problems started, new oil, new filter, new gasket. Symptoms went away for short period. Then bought code reader, came up with the governor pressure sensor and the other sensor next to that one. Again, new fluid, new gasket and filter...

    So my nephew has this 5.7 hemi, the problem run really rough, constant like white smoke. He bought the truck the guy said it jumped timing. So we put it in a scanner the crank solenoid was bad so replaced that and the timing chain. Those codes went away, but now throwing codes for ignition coils...
