so i did one crank revolutions. Piston down then back up again. My cam mark was at 6 o'clock, my crank dot was at 5:30 to 6:00 . i did one more revolution #1 piston down, then back up again. cam gear is now at 12:00 and crank dot is at the 5:30 6:00 position.

ok so i just checked the ALLDATA website and it says cam at 12 and crank at 6 with the two dark marks on the timing chain centered on the cam phaser. the single mark on the crank gear above the little dot.
does it make a difference if the timing chain marks are backwards ? Like the two marks on...

i pulled the oil pump off. i replaced the timing chain with a new one. i thought i had the little dot at 6:00 (crank gear) when i put the chain on. is it possible i was off 180 degrees ? anyways im tearing into it tonight and hope to verify this real soon.

If i could do it all over again i would just go with boost. however i had a wiped cam so i went the route of new cam,lifters,new heads , ati UD pulley, long tube headers etc... new tuner and program. im still trying to finish this project. the money and time i spent on this is about the same as...
