    Replacement shocks for RAM 2500

    My problem on my truck is the rear shocks don't dampen right away. They "rapid bounce" for a few seconds. Can that be fixed?

    Same here. 2500 tradesman ,2022. Drives me nuts! I think when you are almost stopped, It clunks from 4th to first. I understand that there are 3 sets of "planitary gears" and I think its dropping from one set of those gears to the first set. Tran guys, feel free to jump in here. I do hate it...

    When I first drove my truck, I thought, "what the hell is wrong with these tires?" So on checking the PSI ,3 tires were at 85 psi. The rt front tire was at 95psi !!! So I lowered them all to door sticker and it drove better. But I still went 5 psi under in the front because of wandering...

    Anyone switched to 87 octane?

    Been running 87 in all my Rams over the last 20 some years. Never had a problem. New 2022, 2500 6.4,,, book says 87,, not changing that. Don't throw your money away.

    Ok,,, after using TW hybred solutions for 5 months over the winter, My take is the wash and wax Sucks. Leaves water marks all over, very visable on the glass.     Are 2022 Exhaust manifolds still an issue?

    If they would stop shutting down the front half of the motor this wouldn't be a problem. Half the manifolds are cooler than the other half. ECO shuts off the same front 4 cylinders every time instead of alternate cylinders. Anyone know how I can shut down ECO permanently?

    I'am playing with lower PSI now. Lowered the front to 55, the rear to 60. I might lower again another 5 PSI. I'll be towing my travel trailer (6000lb) this weekend and see how that goes. Truck and TT will be fully loaded this trip. I'll post next week when I get back. 90 mile trip on back roads...

    I'am going to do the chalk test as soon as the weather here in Delaware clears. Right now, they are inflated to the door sticker,,60lbs. Max on the tire is 80lbs.

    Crawl under the truck. The capacity is is stamped on the tank. If its 26, you need to report that station. They are ripping people off big time.

    The damper looks exactly like one of the wheel shocks. What did you replace it with?

    I've owned Rams fo over 30 years or so. Two other 2500s in the past. None were this bad. A cross wind makes me fight the steering.

    Don't know what that is, but I do know the steering and brakes use the same fluid system.
