ICBC writes off 2022 EV due to cost of battery replacement

Ya but we have JT looking out for our best interests... But my 2cents I will NEVER buy a fully EV vehicle... hybrid likely because you have a secondary power source I don't think EV buyers think about long term cost and depreciation of their "new tech" vehicles....

    Rampant Rodent

Yep we have the top predator in our neighborhood I've got a vid of our cat stalking and then nose to nose with a doe mulie on the fence and she actually got startled. He brought a snake to the back door a couple years ago and I thought it was a rattler but it was a gopher snake that imitates...

Bilstein 5100 Shock Absorbers Install question

The only reason I'm changing the shocks is for the front end leveling. The truck only has 50000kms / 30000miles so nothing should be worn to the point of needing replacement Appreciate everyone's feedback... always a great site...

Anyone else get real nervous after their first oil change at their own hands?

What I've been doing is placing a piece of plastic over the front axel directly below the oil filter and a tarp on the ground Between the two it keeps the oil off the truck and the ground

2019 Ram 5.7l coolant is insane now

So soon after when I bought my '19 Classic express I noticed my coolant level was low and mistakenly used the typical 50/50 Prestone mix I found out about the OAT requirement later and made an appointment at my local Dodge stealership to have them do a flush and refill When I got the bill it was...

First time Ram buyer--6 vs. 8 speed? Other things to consider?

I have a 6sp that has a column shifter and I can put it into manual shift mode with the controls right there so I can choose the shift points and disable the MDS at the same time. Does your 8sp do that??

    Single or dual exhaust?

Funny that you should ask this I just finished watching an episode of Engine Masters where they dyno tested all different exhaust configs and the best performance by far was a single 3" coming from the headers into a free flowing muffler Turns out that's pretty much the setup I have on my Ram...

Tire Day - The day I have been dreading...

So just to throw my two cents in and living in Canada I have some experience with snow if you get true snow tires and plan to run them year round you'll find that they aren't great after a summer or two because the rubber tends to harden and won't grip the ice and snow as well as they did new...

    Left rear blinker

So not sure if you have the same issue that I had with my older Grand Cherokee but the assembly that holds the rear bulbs actually melted from being on the brake pedal I guess and I had to replace the entire thing because of that...might be why they're saying that yours needs to be replaced. You...
