2019 Rebel 4x4 5.7. Never expected it to be great but I did expect a little better than the 2017 Rebel I had...same 5.7 (avg 18mpg)
I commute 80 miles and 90% of that is highway. Avg mpg is lucky to top 16!
Sure, we could say winter gas or heavy foot or whatever but I drive the same and fill up...
As a previous owner of a 2017 Rebel and now a current owner of a 2019, I would say go with the 5th gen. The 4th is awesome and some days I miss it, but the 5th gen is taller, rides smoother, has more upgrades....
The unit needs to see 2 brake signals, the older models only needed one and if you look on YouTube it shows wiring in a relay. This still works but you need to add another way to send the signal again... This is why I added the switch. I am switching the relay to get the second signal

Measuring tape and reference points. I kept measurements consistent using the door line and transferred them to both sides

Had a little plasti dip left from my wheels so I decided to make some fender hashes using the same Anthricite color. Im really liking the look especially since I did the wheels and tinted my tailights..
My 08 has a Flo-pro muffler and a Magnaflow Y-pipe. Sounds modified from the outside and slightly different inside, but not annoying or droning at all!
its been a few weeks and ill admit, im somewhat impressed. there hasnt been any flaking or scratches to fix really.. it hasnt been peeling off or anything either..
i still need to do some washing, but so far its held up!
