Remote start cancelled. Hood is ajar.
That's the message I get when I try to remote start my 2011. It only happens when its hot outside. Over 85F maybe or parked in the sun on a day over 75F or so. There doesn't appear to be any adjustment on the hood switch. Anyone else ever have this?- JonF

Front brakes dragging
I do drive it at least once a week, and usually on longer rides, 50-100 miles when I do drive it. And I've only had the Cavalier on the road for 5 weeks. -

What kind of mileage with and without PDF deletes?
On my 2011 I did a DPF delete pipe and smarty Jr. I only ran the 40 HP tune and averaged 17+ mpg with a light foot daily driving in the summer. (Empty) On a long interstate drive I could get very close to 19 mpg @ 70-74 mph. Day to day driving that was a 2 mpg increase. I never took a long trip...- JonF

Recommend me some Tires !!!
I had the Michelin LTX AT2 on my 2011 2500 Cummins. I went up one size to LT285/70R17. I traded the truck after about 16000 miles on those tires. They were pretty quiet, rode and drove great. I used them very little off road but did work well when I did. I missed most of the snow last year but...- JonF

New vehicle question
If you're towing 6000 pounds you're going to need brakes on your trailer. The brake controller is what operates your trailer brakes. I don't know how much that option is but it's probably worth getting it over an aftermarket unit and paying to have it installed.- JonF

3.92s Engine RPM at 65mph?
Thanks guys. I did pretty much trust the build sheet. I didn't really trust the used car sticker because it also said manual seat adjusters but I have the 10 way power drivers seat too. So... 3.92s... I think I see a little taller tire in my future when the stockers are done.- JonF

3.92s Engine RPM at 65mph?
I bought my 2011 1500 used a bit over a month ago. The window sticker said the truck had 3.55s but I downloaded the build sheet last night and it said it has 3.92s. Bilsteins at 1.4". Any regrets?
I set them at 1.4" I'm happy with the look. I like a little rake and the rear is so soft sets level with a little weight. I have the airlift 1000's too. I leave them at 5.5 psi except when I carry my 650 pound atv . Then I pump them up to 20 psi. -

Lots of options. Lots to read here. You could do Bilstein 5100 or Rancho QLL to level. They are a better option than spacers. And then add a 1.5" body lift. This would give you around 3 1/2' on the front depending on the level you use and where you set it and 1.5" on the back. You could add... -

Air Cell?
I went with the Airlift 1000s. Very happy with them. Before them when I put my atv in the back it squatted 3 inches. 6.7 Cummins Towing-which rearend?
I had a 2011 Ram 2500 Crew cab, short bed, 4wd, auto trans, 3.73 truck. Loved it.
