Lol. 30' tt through Calgary Alberta rush hour. Signal and move. They see that much truck and trailer moving, they move

Well of course the dealer won't do it here. I already am running the tires lower but that stupid light is annoying. Is there a tunner or programmer that will adjust them??

Is there a way to adjust the wheel sensor pressure so that I don't have to run 80psi in my tires to keep the low tire light off??

Pulled similar with both a ram 1500 and ram 2500 diesel. If you have the money go with the 2500 no question. It is doable with the half ton legally, but you will be adding airbag, sway control weight distribution and spend a lot on gas. You will white knuckle a few windy days and wish you...
I did it, I won't be going back to the 1500. Lol
As for the original poster. A properly setup half ton "can" pull it. So the 2500 should as well. My 1500 had a max tow rating of 10,200. It handled my trailer, but I put air bags on the truck, 2 sway bars, and wdh with it. Pulled a 360...
Averaging 18mpg since I bought it, about 30% pulling a trailer and about 60/40 highway/city. Can't complain as my wife's 1500 is getting the same.

Perfect thread. I was looking for this. Another question I have, mine came with a winter front from dodge. At what temperature range would you use it?? Don't want to over heat the truck for sure but any bit helps.

I have the 3:42's. I was looking at the airbags but the wife says wait till spring. Only a couple more pulls this year anyways.

Nothing in the toy hauler portion either right now. I'll lower it one more then see where it sits. Thanks for the input.

Lol. Yup diesel. Wife and I want to do a couple long hauls with the motorcycles. Waited till the right deal came along with the truck. Next summer we are ready to go.

So this is the the new truck and trailer all hooked up, equalizers on, no water in the front (100l tank)
So should I lower the ball one more notch on the hitch or leave it.

2015 3/4 ton crew cab 4x4. Decided to upgrade as we were maxing out our half ton pulling and putting on a ton of miles on it.

So I looked (not real hard but did look) for a thread that had tips for newbies buying a diesel truck. Reason I'm looking is let's face it, huge purchase and want to make sure it lasts. I've had gas trucks all my life and will be purchasing a new diesel this week. Just waiting on paperwork...
Put these in both my rams. First set took an hour to install, second was 2 beers and a half hour. Ran them back to the license plate

I hear you. I think experience and a proper setup is the biggest part. And don't just trust the rv dealer to set it up.

Lol. I know, I went on there looking for sway bar information lol. I agree with them to a point. The more truck the better. But not everyone can justify a new truck when they buy a trailer and if you can setup everything safe and legal and within your driving abilities then go for it. I...
No tick and no oil in the coolant. Actually runs smooth and lots of zip to it. Just fills the oil with antifreeze.
My plan was to pull the heads off and hope for something as simple as a gasket. If I didn't see anything then just continue pulling the motor and replace it.
