Again! I've done so many now, that it's cake for me now.
I used UPOL Raptor spray in liner.
I used a 6 quart kit as I wanted to have a bit extra for the lower section of my front bumper. I had some previous rock rash from wheeling.
Took 6 hours. I think it came out amazing. .

So, I've been toying with this idea I've been having.
Thinking about getting a 2017 Ram Power Wagon..
I'm thinking doing a Thuren 1.5" front and rear overlander kit
Getting some new wheels and tires
bedliner and bakflip cover
For starters.
I've been doing some research on it and...
Thinking about ordering my next truck.
For those of you that have gone through the process, is it pretty much pick the same options you see on the build it on the Ram site? Or is it more to that!
AND.. is there still that wiggle room with the dealer to get a better deal?
Or is it, man...
A good friend of mine took off some of his factory flares and actually gave them to me. :happy107:
Thinking about roughing them up and painting them tomorrow. Maybe get them installed on my truck.
For those of you that purchased factory flares and put them on your truck, what did you use...
Took advantage of this raining weather here in Arizona and went out to Apache Trail / Tortilla Flats today to mess around. Love the Thuren suspension on my truck. Just need to get the rear done!
Here are some pictures ...
Well I replaced by factory Tradesman bumper with a new paintable one with fog light cut outs from RockAuto and it came in this week.
Prepped it for paint and purchased some fog lights. I ordered a set of factory fogs and a set of LED 3" pods and a Rigid fog light kit.
Something tells me I'll...
I'm thinking about ordering a front printable bumper with fog lights for my truck. I don't have fog lights now.. My question is what is needed to mount the fog lights to the bumper?
I see on ebay, some have a black bracket, and I'm wondering if that is all the is needed, or is that just part...
I had a low coolant light come on at start up and go off for a few weeks now.
I did some searching and it appears it's a common thing with the EGR/Regen process on the 6.7L Cummins motors. Depending on your load/driving you can have this light come on at 20-30K miles. I had mine come on at...
I'm painting another set of mirrors for a buddy of mine.
They are for a 2016 Ram 2500... I normally paint them assembled, but wondering has anyone ever removed the head/arm from these tow mirrors?
I don't think it's an easy job, searched and can't find anything on it. Even google /...
Was out today shouting some spots to take some storm pictures for the upcoming Monsoons here in Arizona. Got to find some cool places for sure. Just can't wait for them to really start.
Took the camera and snapped a few of the truck too while I was at it.
Was out taking some lightning shots tonight. We're in our Monsoon's right now, so heavy storms almost everynight for the next 3 months. LOVE THIS TIME OF YEAR!
Took a few with the truck!
Went up to Prescott Arizona for a friends wedding. While the wife and I had 3 days to ourselves with no kids, we had a blast. Had time to get away and play on some trails. Was a fun time. Had to snap some pictures of the rig!
I made this easy to do catch can for the fuel filters.
Works perfect on the rear mounted fuel filter. Since it's right above the driveshaft. The tubing slides right over the drain spout.
For the front, the tube slides in it and prevents the fuel from going over the front axles.
Got a...
Got new wheels for the truck. Went from 17" wheels to these 20" wheels.
Also, went from Nitto Trailgrapplers to Toyo Open Country MTs.
I like it. I love the 20MM offset rather than the 0 offset.
Fuel Hostage III - 20x9 20MM offset and black lugs
