    Front Bumper Replacement

I love my AEV, it was pricey but fit great. If one was to get picky - my only complaint was I couldn't get two of the parking sensors in front to reconnect (not enough slack in the wiring). Went with a bigger winch(Warn 15S) as well vs the stock PW one.

    Parts are finally showing up

Did our impromptu bumper/winch replacement last weekend - directions were a bit interesting, but all and all fairly straight forward. lol - we stayed within the 8hr install time that the directions said, mainly due to a few steps we jumped on and had to go back and redo somethings. Only issue...

    Parts are finally showing up

With all the issues I've had with my winch, it is time for a change. Ordered a new WARN 15-S winch, AEV bumper and some light mounts. Now the fun for the install next week - lol. Up here in the salt belt the way the winch sits stock the "weather cover" for the solenoids is wrong and collects...

Buying a power wagon just because it’s bad @$$

Meh - I'm still not overly impressed with my PW (second one I've owned), but slowly getting all the stock crap replaced/ upgraded. Mine's apparently plagued by some electronic glitches lately. If I had to do it all over again would probably do something different, but now so much money...

    Door removal like a jeep.

There are legality issues as well. If you are on the highway driving a vehicle with doors off that was designed for them to be on can be a ticketed offense. Jeep Wranglers are made to have them removable so they are legal, and now the new Bronco's are as well. I rarely, if ever take my doors...

    Another Winch not working thread

Well I went and did it....... Since I need to pull the winch regardless to work on it, I went stupid and bought the AEV winch bumper and new Warn 15S winch. Figured worst case once I fix the current Warn 12S, that can be a spare winch. Or if the day comes I trade in the wagon, I can throw the...

    Another Winch not working thread

I'm debating going with AEV winch bumper, and a new M15S Warn winch for now. Will more then likely buy a newerish diesel to replace the powerwagon, and swap over the AEV and 15S to that. lol - hopefully in that duration get the Powerwagon winch fixed and sell it off with stock setup down the...

    Another Winch not working thread

What is stupid on the powerwagon, is how they mount the winch. The bottom of the winch faces out so all the salt and crap go right up into winch / solenoid pack.

    Another Winch not working thread

lol - not great yet. Summer has been way to busy, so haven't even dove back into this. Hopefully in the next few weeks I free up some time and get this remedied.

    35’s Vs 37’s

I vote 37s....... Had mine for a few years and no regrets. Thats many thousands of miles towing, offroading, DD, it does it all. Still average about 14.5mpg back n forth to work, and when sticking around 60ish mph have seen 16mpg. And towing, lol, are trucks can't tow for crap already as it...

    Power wagon

I really am starting to hate the MOPAR Warn winches. Both my Powerwagons I've owned they been crappy. Had the M12000, which that was mainly the locations of the pins for the remote. Snow/salt got behind the plug and corroded the pins. My 2019 stopped working this winter. The "hey lets put a...

Ball Joints - OEM or aftermarket

On my 2019, I know I had a little play on the driver side, but at the time didn't warrant to replace them till spring (was the plan). I have been getting a thunking noise lately, and the off-road shop I brought it to, after a full day of troubleshooting are saying the noise is coming from the...

    Another Winch not working thread

So going through winch saga again on another powerwagon. My first one was an 07 and the pins rotted /corroded...... Now on my 2019 the winch stopped working as well. - Used it about 2 weeks ago to winch my friends plow truck up a driveway he was stuck on. DIdn't overwork the winch at all...

    Front aftermarket track bar popping

I might be going down this same path. I've had a clunk for a few months now, mainly on hard hitting bumps. I am seeing no play in any bushings, and really sounds like my track bar (from the same company yours was). Dropping mine off today at a local offroad shop, and printing off this forum...

    Thinking of 37s

Bought mine with 35s, and drove that way for a few months. Then went to 37s, and didn't notice much different between the 2. I did have rubbage with 37s and 6 people in cab while turning on a hill, so assume offroad it would have done the same. Since then I added Thuren 1.5" level to front...

    70 year spread

That place looks awesome, would be an all day event just to walk through there and look at all the equipment. I'm sure there are some treasures in that group.

    70 year spread

lol - another topic I am pulling from my 2019 build thread. Picked this up a little while ago. Was an old wrecker, but the guy I bought it from took that off before selling. Not sure what plans I have for this yet, hopefully just make a plaything for the property we have and surrounding...

    Serv 4wd saga continues

See mine just throws the Serv4wd light. It isn't trying to shift into 4by. Not getting much for error codes - need to talk to dealership to see what tcase code the tech mentioned. At least as of now, when the light isn't on, everything else works flawlessly. Lockers engage quick as well as...

    Serv 4wd saga continues

When they checked codes it was for the tcase, which was a surprise for me. I don't have that printout to say what the exact code was. They asked if it was hard to put in 4x4, I was like no, it's always been easy to pull into 4high or 4low. Since they cleaned that one pin, I haven't driven...

    Serv 4wd saga continues

I've mentioned this in my build thread, but starting its own topic here on the PW forum as well. This is on my 2019 PW Ever since I've owned the truck (1 year now) I've gotten a random SERV 4WD light that comes on. Mainly when just driving in 2wd, 90% of the time it clears once the truck is...

Back in a Powerwagon - slow build

Sooooo, yeah a fool and his money are soon parted. I couldn't pass up the 49 PW And 70 years apart

Back in a Powerwagon - slow build

So in the city one day recently and the Serv4WD came on 4 times. Swung by the dealer and they where able to read the codes, but to my surprise its coming up as tcase alert, not the front axle disconnect. But I guess on the tcase position sensor, if that is acting up would cause the front axle...

Might be adding another project to the list, but hey it is a PW at least.

Back in a Powerwagon - slow build

Actually did some recovery this past weekend. I was sent a notification from a social media recovery forum Friday night, and they where only a few miles from my house. A fullsize Tundra with street tires and a FJ with mud tires. Tundra was pretty easy - just stuck in snow so I was able to...

Back in a Powerwagon - slow build

A little load for the PW - will have to weigh this eventually but they got the rear a squatting. This are new rails for my bulldozer. Sorry for non-build updates, but as you can see the weather isn't turning all the way yet, and I ain't freezin my fat **** off working on new stuff for the...
