    carrying spare shafts on the trail with me from here on in, bought a used complete shaft from a guy who had over 40 2nd gen rams in his yard for $100 yesterday, and he swears that they made the shafts thicker in '00 and '01. now i cant find ANYWHERE on the internet where this is infact true...
