Ram 1500 EV is questionable if it makes it to market

What I would like to see if more PHEV, the ones out now get you 35-45 miles of all electric, then they kick over to gas. If they could boost them up some, would be even better. That would be perfect for the wife and I since we are an 8 mile commute each way to work. I talked to someone who...

Questions, possibly coming back to Ram

That is a good tip on the MFT, I did notice once that I did not close it all the way and saw it on the dash. Will start looking at 3rd brake light for now on

Questions, possibly coming back to Ram

oh I know.. have had many trucks over the years, F150's/250's and Ram 1500/2500, but this is the first time a major problem has cropped up. And Ford not backing it, really pissed me off.

Bed/Tailgate Mat for 2021 RAM 1500 with MFT

I am going to get the bedtred and mod it. Just have to figure out what to use to stick the cut portions to the plastic on the mft. How is the silicone holding up on the closed cell foam on the underside of the bedrug?

    Not new, but back

Just picked up my 2023 1500 Limited.. Level 1, multi-function tailgate, Pano roof, Night edition, and a couple other minor options. Really like it, such a smooth ride.. Traded in 2021 F150 Lariat Powerboost. Loved that truck too, however the A/C was acting up and Ford decided they did not...

Questions, possibly coming back to Ram

Is that because of a defect, or lack of use. I know with the F150 pano roofs most people that did not use them had the issues. When I had mine, I used it a lot and never had issues with it.

Questions, possibly coming back to Ram

Another question I thought of today, are any features (heated wheel, seats, anything for that matter) missing due to chip shortages. Ford has nixed the heated steering wheel and massaging seats for now, there may be some more as well...

Questions, possibly coming back to Ram

Have been driving a F150/250 since 2018, most likely coming back to Ram in the near future due to A/C issue with my current 150.. Couple of questions. 1. Are there any features that should be on the Limited that have been negated due to chip shortage. (heated steering wheel is one of the...

    I Gotta Ask...

right there with you. I bought a truck because that is what I like to drive. It is my daily to my IT job that pays my bills. Don't tow anything, but I do take stuff to dump, get crap from Lowes and do whatever it is I want with what I pay for. It is also the travel vehicle because it has a...

    Regular 2500 or PW

I only like the PW because of its looks, has nothing to do with off roading. In my neck of the woods, Central MD, there is nowhere to off road anyway, except for small trails more for jeeps.. Most people, in my opinion, are not going to off road it anyway, just like the Raptor... I use a...

    Regular 2500 or PW

kind of figured.. thanks.. how is the ride in the new 19, heard it was much better.. I had a 2016 and put on new shocks (fox), thuren front suspension. Had the air ride so couldn't do too much in rear except for shocks.. I know it is a HD, but gotta be able to get it ride better....

    Regular 2500 or PW

Contemplating going back to HD 2500 later this year, early next year and want to know why the PW's have such a low payload capacity. Do they not have the same axles, is it the different springs. I can see a difference of some amount, but more than half is crazy.. I don't tow, but haul weight...

    New truck every 5 years

I guess I am one of the stupid ones, since I financed my 60K truck and lease a vehicle as well. I go through vehicles every 2-3 years, and that is why we lease the wifes ride. And I will retire and not have to work, based on the 401k that I have had since I started working at 18.. I will work...

    RamBox

Good to know about the rambox, but sucks about the air. I like the limited for the frost interior, but would rather have air like my 2500.. Only needed in the rear. Oh well, will just wait for rambox and get a laramie, then put on firestone or airlift bags...
