    Dipstick wrong

    Just did my first oil change and just went ahead and threw in 7 quarts of oil. The dip stick reads about a 1/4 inch high while engine is cold cold cold. Should I worry or is the dip stick more likely to be off more then anything. I did go with the amsoil e-a oil filter so not sure if it's smaller.

    Ok guys im bent on amsoil first off so plan is to stick with that for the trucks life. Plan as of now is to run there signature blend 5w-20 with there EA oil filter. Does that sound good to yall truck is a garage whore but dogged when she gets out.

    Can anyone tell the the thread pitch of this spot on the housing behind the starter area thqt a bolt would go in. I have tried 2 different sizes all seem to go in but loose feeling. I want to use a p clip to hold my shift cable due to long tubes.

    Ok guys got my american racing headers i went 1 3/4 catless with y pipe. From the guys who have installed these any tips or tricks.     Just curious for the adams and chemical guys and all the other ocd truck washers. What are you guys using to protect truck when installing a cam or any kind of deep engine work.
