    Just updating this thread, it ended up being my pass side hub bearing. Replaced and is quiet and smooth as ever. That hub was seized on there so bad, had to take a 2x4 and wedge it between old rotor I put on and the frame. Turn steering wheel and finally broke loose. Now waiting for driver side...

    Hmm good point. I did have both wheels of the ground and dudnt seem to notice any play. I may have to check again

    rockauto seems to be a good place, going with timken as well. Although noone chiming in with experience in replacing shafts?

    I may replace the wheel hib also, but there is definite looseness in the cv shaft. I grabbed it and it made metal sounding noise, similar to what I hear sometimes when driving.

    So I think my passenger (and maybe driver) side front cv axle is going bad on my 2013 ram 1500 4wd quad cab. Seems that both front ahafts are exactly the same part. Ive never replaced one and am looking for aome experience with this. I hear a metal clicking sometimes and also a dull hum, more so...

    thanks for the help. Ive fogured out that they dont come apart and rhe rubber and steel line come all in one piece from the dealer. Just in case anyone needs it in the future.

    I just did pan drop and filter change. What a pain in my ass. I didn't suck any out of dipstick, so dropped pan and took a shower in atf. Dish soap and a garden hose to rinse myself off, including my hair. Pan off, oil filter wouldn't budge, oil filter tool was too big, so I had to jam something...

    Aren't we able to use champion plugs instead of ngk? I just bought champions for like 30 for 16 of them, listed as direct replacement for the 30k spark plugs (copper)
