    6.4 Hemi or Cummins

Another thing to consider in the diesel vs gas debate is sticker price is $9400 more for the S.O. diesel vs 6.4 gas engine. I bought a new 3500 diesel Ram last July and in all my shopping around I bought a comparably equipped Longhorn 6.7 diesel for only $5200 more than my best price quote on...

    Tradesman vs Big Horn

Don't know where you are getting the idea of $10k-$15k more for a Bighorn. On the Ram build and price site a base 2500 4x4 Bighorn is $4875 more than a base 2500 4x4 Tradesman. Good luck with whatever you decide.

The real consequence of driving without insurance

If I read your post correctly you have uninsured coverage which should cover the damages and not count against you as a collision claim. Uninsured motorist insurance protects you if you're in an accident with an at-fault driver who doesn't carry liability insurance.

What's better? 6.4L or the Cummins Diesel

OK I've had both, 2017 6.4 2500, currently drive a 2020 3500 CC DRW long bed Cummins Laramie Longhorn. When I went to buy this truck the exact same truck in 6.4 was availible for ONLY $5000 less than the diesel as the dealer came off the price of the Cummins equipped truck much more than the...

Need to make buying decision based on towing; Please help!

Most 1/2 ton trucks run out of payload capacity well before hitting the rated towing capacity. Check the yellow & white door sticker that says something like total weight of all occupants and load should never exceed xxxx pounds. For example my 2015 1/2 ton Ram had ONLY 1090 lbs total capacity...

The last 5 years before I retired in 2016, EVERY diesel truck the company purchased, from the 1 tons up had continuing regen problems. When we bought our 1st TT, because I said we would never have a 5th wheel...

Whats biggest thing you've towed with your 1500?

My 32 foot Cherokee 770 lb hitch weight 6400 dry about 7400 all loaded up . My 1500 Laramie towed and stopped it fine but I was over on the 1070 lb max load limit from the yellow door sticker . I traded for a 2500 6.4 with nearly 3 times the rating at 2920 lbs . I like the 2500 much better towing .
