The good thing was whomever did it was professional enough to put the bullet connectors in opposition so that when you disconnected it the original wire went back together with male and female ends.
I couldn't decide where to post so I just decided general. I went to take out the stock cargo/third brake light and found it had been spliced up already. What is this for. It doesn't have leds so I didn't think it'd be for canbus correction. I'm the second owner so I have no idea what might have...
* Well heres something you ought to know up front before spending alot of time on this... USB sucks as well and has a much reduced volume, and trouble with reading folders and such. Mysynch on ford did awesome and this Uconnect does nothing.

It starts cutting frequency at 32hz. its not a hard wall, but it will sharply decrease volume of subharmonic frequency below that. Most amps do some version of this as well. Kicker I think does 25, some may go down to 10... kenwood used to.
The thought process is not to waste power in a...

These factory radios are really clean in their output as i think they back off after about 29 as you seem to have...
I'm not 100% but some factory head units won't output signal if they don't sense a load from a speaker. I've seen that the people even without the amp had problems here. This is the fix.
I didn't have to because I just tapped the rear for sub and let the fronts be powered by the radio as is...
