Also I was noticing you are showing 10 ply E rated tires. If you are chasing ride comfort, those need to go
Hopefully this issue gets resolved for you! I think as you have been told by others the spring rate is off ?
I have a 2006 2500 and need to adjust the pinion factor now that I put larger tires on it. This AEV procal is $190… is there a cheaper option for the older rigs that don’t have as many options?
Put these power wagon take off tires on my 2006. Seller took them off his 2021 to go bigger and these are the ones I snagged for $350 off Facebook. All told just under $500 including install.
Unfortunately that shop didn’t do you any favors. They should have checked your front end parts prior to alignment. Unfortunately this alignment is junk and you need to replace the ball joints and then have the alignment re done. Maybe you could talk to the manager and ask for another no charge...
If you buy emf ball joints, they can be tightened… but you would still need to install them. But yes, you will need an alignment after ball joint replacement. As a good measure I also replaced my hubs and u joints but you may not need to do that.?
Speaking of quoting myself- just found a set of these on Facebook a power wagon owner had taken off to put on taller tires. I got them with 12,000 miles on them for $350. I couldn’t say no at that price. I have had pretty good luck with these so I will get them put on and see how they go.
Now if...
Dang you are right. Well I believe cjc sells something for the rear as well. Pw sits 2” higher than a non pw 2500 so I believe those would only raise the rear by 1”...
Don’t quote me on this but if you are having a drive train error code, this could prevent the disconnect from working. Until it’s fixed, it may not work correctly. Cool new old truck!
Absolutely. I had them on a 4Runner and absolutely loved them. They handled flawlessly in the snow but then again that’s a different vehicle than these trucks
Cool truck! If you need replacement springs, why not upgrade to a softer spring at the same time? You can get leveling springs from cjc off-road. Finding brand new power wagon only springs will probably be the same price as the aftermarket ones and they won’t ride as nicely...
I saw them and they look really nice! I was hoping to find something a little more budget friendly . Also the maple off-road ones are only for pw trucks. They say they don’t have the options right now for non pw trucks due to the frame configuration. maybe I will just fab my own?
