I thought to fit back up the new hitch, but the original was a bear to get off the truck...my thought is due to slight bend down it caused the side to flare out which makes uninstall/install more difficult. Wondering if I can try to beat it back up and reinforce it? I really don't know how to...
Got it lifted but I’m afraid the tilt may come from the frame. The bottom is angled up but top part seems to angle down. I bought a salvage replacement but any thoughts before I go through the job of putting it back on?

I have a 2006 Ram 1500 that I bought used. I recently bought a small trailer for pulling a golf cart to our hunting property.
I noticed that the hitch is angled down a bit once the trailer was hooked up...never notice before, but I imagine the previous owner bent it towing...
Yeah, i replaced the sensor which had thrown an engine light...drove about 10 HWY miles since the fix...not drop yet, no engine light...but man, makes me a nervous wreck watching that little gauge
Thanks for the feedback...I did notice while getting ready to remove the oil pressure gauge there was a small bit of oil on the ground that wasn't there before the test...i had a heck of a time getting the fittings together to work for the area...wondering if the readings were lower due to not...

At cold start held at 40 solid
- As it heated up it dropped...after probably 30min of idling it was between 24 and 20 psi
- I revved it up a few times (2500RPM...somtimes 3000RPM) and it would climb up to 30 psi...no needle jumping around...always solid reading.
