Everyone has their theory about the drilling, and all owners need to make their own decision.
For me the drilled holes are very minor compared to the rust!!
A lot depends on where you live but here where I live if you do not do a rust proofing of some kind you will get rust.
I know Krown...
Had my new truck in for the Krown oil spray rustproofing treatment.
They asked me about the drilling before starting and showed me where they were planning to drill.
A total of 6 holes, One towards the bottom of the 'A' post just as it starts to go vertical, The same in the 'B' post

Hi Guys
At my camp we have some huge White and Red Pines, Beautiful trees but in the spring and summer they drop some sap and create a sticky mess.
How can you remove these spots?
I have used hand sanitizer works great on the glass but not sure about the paint.
Thanks
Rick
From what I am being told Westin Front Cap Protector Part #72-11471 is made for the 2002-2008 RAM
They do not have one specific to the 4th Gen as hdoggie stated.
Question Is there any bed size change between the 3rd and 4th Gen In particular the front bed rail size?
Follow up:
I went to the Krown shop and talked to the Tech.
He advised it can be done without drilling but no warranty.
He says 4 holes, One in each door is what he needs to do a good job with full warranty
Yes I think the weatherstripping will work,
But I am gonna try to find a top rail protector for the front of the bed
I feel that would be the best
I just need to find a supplier here in Canada.
This is a pic from the outside, You can see the side rail cap and hoe it is preventing the weatherstripping on the tonneau from touching the bed.
I guess you could cut the side rail cap But I really do not want to be cutting my new truck!! LOL
I have not been in any rain or snow So this might not be an issue
Just one of those things that are obvious now but I overlooked when buying tonneau.
I just really like the Trifecta as it is very easy on and off as I do remove it to put my ATV in the box.
Well I did some adjusting and I have it 'OK' but not great!
With the Tonneau on and tailgate down you can see a little bit of daylight under the Trifecta weatherstripping and that plastic side rail cap.
I bought some foam weatherstipping and am gonna put a small piece beside the cap.
That...
I got a Trifecta tri fold tonneau for my 2018 Big Horn short box
Anyway that piece of plastic chit on top of the sides at the front of the box is creating a poor fit.
Has anyone dealt with this issue?
Can it be fastened down tighter?
Thanks
Rick
