Husky Mud Flap Install on a '18

Do the spats need to be removed or do the mud flaps go over No fender flares

Mine's a '12 but had to remove the splats to get my Husky flaps to fit

I have a 17 and had to remove the spats.

The instructions mention they need to be removed if they are the longer ones that seem to come on 11 and newer trucks
