Ride quality mainly. On the Rams you'd place a spacer on top of the spring. This kills the ride in my opinion as well as changes the angle of the ball joint on the UCA to an unfavorable one.
Bilsteins that many use (myself included) don't change that angle as much and I think it increases the...
My Dad and I were just talking about this today. We each have one cracked on our 16 and 17 Big Horns. I never thought anout going aftermarket with pods. Interested.

Nearby AutoZone or O'Reilly? They should have them. I know they have the guide pins. I broke one on mine a few weeks ago and they had them in stock. Only cost a few bucks. It's sure they'd have the mounting bolts as well.

In my opinion, better than stock. Mine rode like a Cadillac with the crappy Goodyears and now it rides the same with my Nittos which are a much rougher tire.

Bingo. That right there makes me wish I went 1.5" even more. Just enough rake to look good but less than the factory overkill.

Daystar 1" spacer. Mounts to top of spring. Took some work getting it in. Theres a male cone that comes down off the frame that is supposed to go into the female opening of the spacer. Then the spacer goes down and around on the spring kind of like a lid. But the opening for the frame mount was...
2.1 will most likely get you pretty level. Each truck is slightly different. I went 2.8 and 1" in rear and I'm slightly nose high. I'll go 1.5" in rear when I replace my rear shocks.

Deep pockets for sure. Just built one. $84k. And that didn't even include the "launch edition" package that was another $12k.
Granted its loaded. Tons of tech goodies. And I will have one. It'll just be in 8 years and be used. Lol.
Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
I've already made plans to get one.
In 8 years. Lol. Deal I had to make with the better half. Keep mine for 10. Put too much time and money in to it not to. But man I can't wait to see it tomorrow. I think noon EST is stream.

Nav is the only thing I can see a use of it for. Factory navigation sucks especially on back WV roads. I have a mag vent mount for my phonw for when I use nav but it would be nice to actually have it on the screen.
Other than that, yes. Bluetooth works fine.

If youl are talking about this one..

The answer is no. Thst dongle looks to be for an android radio, which the factory Uconnect units are not.

No kidding. Literally spent an hour getting the first one off. Tried everything. Wrench. Vise grips. Air gun. Finally said screw it and drilled it. Destroyed it in the process but figured it out.
Other side we had done in 5 min. Lesson learned.
And that was with me spraying rust blaster on...
I used one like that to do mine from Amazon. Much cheaper.

Had no problems with it. Just used a good wratchet and took my time going back and forth keeping the compression even.
My biggest issue was getting the top nut...
1.5" will do you about right. I have 1" Daystar spacer (go on top of spring) and I'm slightly nose high.
Will stock shocks work with 1.5" or will extended shocks be needed?

Mine had a slight smell, but not overbearing. Biggest issue for me was the ashes and film that would come through vents and coat the trim around them.
I immediately vacuumed everything (car lots never get under/behind seats well) and replaced the cabin air filter. As in once a month (I put 20k...
I love the Ridge Grapplers. Had them for about 15k. Wearing even and give me the look I wanted without that loud hum.
Didn't snow much but I had no problem in the few inches we had. I've got 305/55/20.
Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
That may be right.
I paid $25k for my 2017 Big Horn CC with 21k miles February 2019. You said he was looking at a QC not CC right?
So same age truck now, 6k more miles and Quad for $2k less. I bet he could fuss em down more.

Easily 20s. That's coming from CC 4x4 in WV hills. I drive 30 miles one way to work and was averaging around 22-23mpg.
Since adding 3" lift with new wheels and 305/55 (still stock 33" height) tires im averaging 17-18mpg.

Like this? No way in the world is that worth 50k. Not even a Rubicon. I love the look of them but for that price I could get a much bigger backseat Ram and customize it perfectly.
I agree that FCA needs something other than this.
Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
Yeah. That's about right. I did 3" and kept stock height 33s, just went wider. 305/55/20.
Even with lighter P-metric tires I still went from 21/22 even 23 sometimes to 16/18.
I've got Pentastar with 3.21 rears. That's the biggest thing. Gears. If I had it to do over again I would've found a...
I'd be all about this. I hope someone can chime in.
I lean into my truck often and hit the buttons not even realizing it till after a few seconds. I never get it back in to the same spot.
I have been seriously considering adding a bypass switch to the power so I can essentially turn the seat...
Depends on your gears as said. What ratio do you have now? 3.21? Sorry if it is in your sig. Tapatalk doesn't show them.
I've got 3.21s with a 3" (2.8 bills) and just 33s but wider (305/55/20), and there is a difference. Lost about 3mpg and it pulls out a bit slower. Has a slight lag now...
Maybe Laramie’s are different or they changed by the time my ‘17 came out, but my seats and steering wheel come on with remote start when the temp is below 40. There’s a setting in uConnect to turn it on or off.

I’ll second that. My Equator Frontier would have the lights come on soon as you turned the truck off. Was super handy for getting stuff together before opening the door. Especially if it was cold or rainy.
I’ve said for years truck manufacturers need to have surveys seeing what options people...
I agree with the maps being outdated. Especially newer roads in non-metro areas. It is handy though.
Might want to look at getting a ‘18 unit with Android Auto/Apple Carplay. Best of both worlds.
