Tranny rebuild
My friend, who’s also my mechanic, recommended transmission guy that he’s used and sent multiple people to in the past. Quoted for rebuild 1800-2200 with year warranty for complete rebuild. She’s a 2001 1500. Thoughts, comments, suggestions? Thanks in advance- JoeSchmoe

Oh I knew she was a project when I bought it lol. Just told a lil white lie when I brought it home Gonna have a go at it though. Saved my last project Ram from the scrapyard, gonna try save this one too. Frame is in immaculate condition. Is why I believe it’s worth a shot. Thanks- JoeSchmoe

Thanks for response and your help. Much obliged Fluid is clean and full yes. Tried both on and off OD. Replaced the transmission speed sensor little while ago(read on here it may be so I tried) went into gear upon startup then she’s dead in the water again. Torque converter would be beyond my...- JoeSchmoe

P1740 Code popped up yesterday driving home from Home Depot. Checked as soon I got in my driveway. Drove to a buddies house to pick something off and outta nowhere RPM’s jumped and “D” gear felt as I was in neutral. Pulled over shifted through the gears, nothing. 2001 1500 hood pins
Hood latch was busted and decided the pins would look decent. I like the look. Better than the previous bungee cords eh lol -
