@madtrucker2016 yah i thought about it but those are quite a bit more expensive and i personally like this being a budget project. I had blue in my optima i had before trading in on the ram for years and never once wished i had a different color. I kinda feel the same about the green after...
@audiophile @Eclipse Aries Here is the link to the light strips I used https://www.ebay.com/itm/4X-Green-12-Car-Motor-Flexible-LED-Strip-Light-5050-High-Power-Waterproof-12V/372645007947?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m2749.l2649. I have them tied into the headlight switch...
Got some footwell and rear seat led strips installed to come on with the headlights. I think im going to disconnect the factory ambient lighting as it washes out the green. Granted those wont be on while driving around at night so not sure.
I really want to do this to get rid of the ugly halogens, but have some concerns. Was this direct plug and play? Do you have any dash lights after install? Did you stick with H7 bulbs or upgrade to HID?
Hello all,
Curious what led license plate bulbs anyone has had success with? If you can provide a link to an ebay or amazon listing or something thatd be great. Ive gone through two orders now and both have been trash.
Thanks!
Really hating the stock halogens and just been looking around for something different that wont break the bank. Found these and wasnt sure if anyone knew anything about them. Also open to hearing inexpensive ways to improve the light output on the stock halogen set up...
@Ramm5.7 I will probably be ordering the light bar this week early on. Wanted to make sure I got my other goodies installed first before buying another project. Got my Tyger step bars and the rear mopar splash guards installed. Had to go pick up more double sided 3m last night to be able to...
Pricing played a big part. Not having push button isnt really a big deal just not used to having to use a key as ive had push button for the last 8 years or so. I may eventually pony up and add push button but i dont think its worth the money to me. As for the seats, they arent bad just again...
The blades looked cool but i just saw tiny feet slipping through in my head so i passed on that style. Odd that they would use a different way to attach too it sounds. Unfortunate because now that ive done them i could probably do another set in just over an hour for the style i got
Had my 1500 Bighorn Classic now for a few weeks and the things I would change are push to start vs key, and the seats arent exactly the most comfortable in the world. I would prefer more bucket style with a little more padding to them as well. Other than that I love the truck so far!
You should be able to just buy them outright, but not sure. I would reach back out to whoever you bought it from first to see about them sending the proper hardware. Honestly, if they cant get it to you I would return and purchase from elsewhere.
Installed some Tyger running boards so that my wife and kids can climb into the truck. I did a ton of research before buying and landed on these due to these factors: flat vs oval, full length vs just steps at the doors, price efficient, least amount of negative reviews that personally scared me...
@WY.Ram thanks for the render, I actually really like the look. Now to convince the wife...As for cheering for the Avalanche, cheering for anything with ties to Kroenke is grounds for being shanked around here and whoever gets me will just get a reward check or something. That being said, I...
Anyone willing to do a quick photoshop job for me? Curious to see what it would look like to have the ram head and bumper done in the paint code pfq, or f8 green. Also maybe one with just the ram head green. Ive got a pic of a car with the paint color im talking about as well.
They have a more basic tint you can choose but I always get the mid tier which also comes with a lifetime warranty and offers a higher level of UV protection
