Go with 5w30. If I ever end up with another Hemi that's what I'll be using from day 1. Quaker State Synthetic is another option with a fair amount of Moly.
I had around 137k miles on my 2012 when I sold it. No issues thus far, though I did occasionally have some ticking at idle. I always ran synthetic oil (mostly 5w20) and changed when the maintenance minder said to. Usually around 8k miles. It never used any oil. Truck has now been replaced...
I've yet to have an oil change done at a dealership that was done properly. Most of the time they are overfilled. That's why do everything that I can on my vehicles. Usually the least experienced and least qualified guy in the shop is doing the oil changes and tire rotations. That was the...
I'd run a 5w30 Full Synthetic. Redline would be best, but if you don't want to spend that kind of money then look at Quaker State Synthetic or Havoline Synthetic from Walmart.

I changed out the plugs in my 2012 at around 45k miles. Truck was still running well and the plugs looked fine. I replaced with Bosch Platinums and the truck was still running like a top when I sold it at 137k. I've used Bosch for years in most of my vehicles, and have no complaints and no...
This is one of the best posts I've ever seen. Thank you for sharing. I have a 2012 Ram with the Hemi with about 135k miles. I've had the tick for awhile, and my truck has seen everything from 0w20 Mobil 1 to various 5w30 synthetics like Pennzoil Platinum. I'm currently running 5w20 Mobil 1...
