2012 5.7 Engine Failure
Howdy, y'all. A year into owning my 2012 1500, 5.7 Hemi and the engine crapped out. I'm suspecting it's cam and lifter failure. Cylinder 3 misfire after replacing all spark plugs. Technician found gunk (oil and carbon I suspect) built up on one side of cylinder 3 and a 120 psi pressure. He got...- broby

NEED AN ENGINE 2011 5.7
So, after everything, all the hoops and hurdles, now I need a motor! Says my compression is only at like 30PSI so I blew rings, etc… who knows! My buddy/mechanic he recommends a new engine. We can rebuild but it’ll take some time and troubleshooting for awhile if we don’t catch everything...- bgoetz1182
