ECM Interchangeable between years?
Hey y'all, I've got a 2015 Ram Power Wagon. I'm looking to get a tune done to it, and as we all know at this point, it needs to either be unlocked, or I need to get a spare to unlock. Unlocked spare pcm, change vin? skim relearn?
I bought a junkyard PCM (2015+ gpec2a) and sent it to HP Tuners to get unlocked. Opened a support ticket to verify that my stock VIN and calibration were transferred to my spare unlocked PCM. Will pcm flash correct limp mode?
I have done several upgrades to my 2011 ram 2500 diesel including finally a H&S tuner. I had originally tried a diablosport predator 2 which put it into limp mode as it could not overwrite some of the exhaust codes.
