I got my 83 running this fall, I put in a new coil and ballast resister. Then a couple days later it wouldn’t start and had no spark again. Why would it burn out a brand new coil? I ordered a internally resisted performing flamethrower coil do you think that will help?
My d-150 has no spark I put in points, cap, rotor, wires, coil, ballast resister. And it fired right up and ran. Then the ballast resister started smoking and stopped working and the coil died, what would cause this to happen
