Truck intermittent cranking, speedometer stopped working, and message says 4 wheel drive unavailable randomly. Any insight?
I have a 2014 ram 1500 5.7 recently my truck will not crank when I turn the key sometimes I have to try up to 10 times starter not turning over at all and no noise then will randomly crank. Speedometer needle stuck at zero mph (and ticking) when COLD
I have a 2018 Laramie 1500 CCSB with 35,960 miles on it. Apologies if there's a thread on this already. This morning when I started my truck at -5 deg F indicated, my speedometer needle stayed at "0 mph" and made a "ticking" sound while it pulsed. I took a short video clip (in my driveway)... -

Speedometer issue
My dash needle is off by 1 mph compared to the digital display. Would anyone out there face the same issue? And no it not an optical issue with my eyes.- Nikolaus Huebner
