not sure where to stick this, my best assumption would be lowering but I’m gonna go with general untill some one moves it. My wife has informs me the new 1500 is hers and she no longer wants a Jeep. That being said I really dig this thing but it does seem a little “squishy” for me. “ a lot of body roll, or lean when cornering” Came from a 2014 6.4 2500” mega cab and that thing would corner and hold like it was on rails especially compared to this 1500. I imagine a beefier sway bar front and back would accomplish this? Thoughts guys? And if you happen to know manufacturers names of the parts to solve the issue “ or recommendations “ that would help to. Thanks all.
The vehicle is a 2018 Ram 1500 big horn.

I installed the Hellwig rear sway bar yesterday, and i felt a huge improvement in handling. I didn't feel any change in the ride quality. Mine is also set on the "firmest" setting.

I would highly recommend a Hellwig rear anti-sway bar. Better shocks and different tires would help a lot to but upgrading that rear sway bar made a hell of a difference cornering especially at higher speeds.

I’m seeing a few different options for helwig on summit racing. Do you still have a part number?

Hellwig sway bar(s) and Bilstein shocks are the way to go.

@OP - are we talking 2wd or 4wd?

Here’s what I did on my 2wd 1500...

Hellwig rear sway bar #7709
Hellwig front sway bar #7708
Bilstein 4600 Series shocks all around
Tire pressure 42/41 on factory 275/60/20

That really improved handling, cornering and minimized body roll/lean.

Is the firmest setting on the hole towards the front of the truck or rear?

The rearmost hole in the Hellwig sway bar is the softest setting.

I remember Bilsteins did help my 1500 feel more planted around corners. But I don’t think it’ll ever feel/handle like the HD though. Just huge differences in frame, suspension structure. Etc. This to some is a blessing. I personally prefer the HD handling.

I went with the Hellwig 7709 on the rear on the middle setting from what I remember. It had no effect on the ride quality at all. Later on I ditched the stock Goodyears for Michelin LTX M&S's and even later after that I replaced the rear shocks with KYB's. The Hellwig did more for the handling than anything else I did and it was easy to install. Hell I did it at work in like 30 minutes or less. I also do remember that I had to use the factory bolts and that the shanks were to big for them to seat properly so I did have to grind them down a little bit.
