01 ram snow plow lighting wiring harnesses

Hello again!

As the title suggests, I'm looking for options on wiring harnesses for snow plow lights.

I am not putting a plow on my truck, I am looking to add extra marker lights without cutting up the factory harness.

In my searching I can only find harnesses that would require cutting and splicing. Does anyone have a lead on a kit that will plug inline with the headlights and signal lights? The same idea is used on the rears with trailer harnesses, so I am hoping there is something.

Unless the truck was built with the plow wiring option, you will need to splice. Depending on years, it's sometimes offered as part of the winter package. I don't know the details by year.

what about one of these?



you pop the fuse out of one of the headlights (or whatever) and put this in its place

then you put two fuses in this doohicky, one for the headlight and one for the circuit you are building

that red wire coming out is what will feed your markers, or whatever
