03 to 05 pcm swap Laramie 4x4

I have a 03 2500 HD 4x4 Laramie auto.
Comp cam, MSD ignition, headers, TM mod, throttle body ground mod, intake, full exhaust high flow cats x pipe etc.. diablo trinity with hemi fever tunes.

Heard of a 03 to 05 pcm swap. I am handy with wiring and a mechanic and fabricator by trade so I'm not intimidated on the swap.

Modifying my harness is what peaks my curiosity vs swaping the entire harness.

Looking for advice and instructions as well as wanting to verify if my 4x4 switch on the dash will work?

Thank you HemiLonestar for the link. I did not read every word quite yet, my biggest concern is the electronic 4x4 switch in my dash.

No reason it shouldn't, unless I'm mistaken that doesn't run through the PCM, does it?
