I got a notification yesterday from Ram trucks giving me a PRIVATE special code for a $1000.00 rebate/ incentive good until April 30th. My truck,February 16th placed order is now in the build stage. If the truck does not arrive to the dealership by April 30th am I just **** out of luck, or can the dealership help me out in any way ?

I'd talk to them and see if they can't add it to the purchase agreement.

I got one of those in Dec. for $1500. Told the dealer about it and they said no problem they will handle it. They submitted the paperwork and about a month later, check from Ram in my mailbox.
Now I cancelled my Mopar extended warranty and they told me I was due $2000 and change and it would take 6-8 weeks. Time is about up. I may have to contact Mopar.

Did they submit the paperwork after the expiration date ? Was this at the time of delivery? Also was this coupon available to you because you applied for a brochure

My offer came as a popup when I was using Ram's website building and looking for dealer stock. It had an expiration date that it had to be used by. I had already come to an agreed price with the dealer and then I get this offer. I told the salesman and he said they would submit it to ram. He said it had a specific number that identified it to me only and it was good anywhere I happened to buy a truck. Not like some that are regional incentives and only good for that area. I bought my truck out of state and we did all the paperwork by FedEx. He said put the paper I printed out in with the signed sales contract and send it back to him.
I picked the truck up about 5 days later and we went into the sales manger's office and he was able to look it up to see it's progress. Told me it was
'being processed", which meant it was approved.

Was the expiration date expired when it was submitted ? Did you get the rebate?

I was sitting on 2 private offers, both valid and addressed to me and had different offer codes, one for $1000 and one for $500. Truck showed up Nov 3 and the $500 expired Oct 31. They would not take the $500 offer that was expired, although I didn't expect them to. Unless a dealer really wants to fight for you, they won't take those expired deals. I suppose it's possible and maybe they can get an extension of some sort.
